Introduction to Infraworks

This course seeks to introduce the Infraworks software, an important tool in the conceptual and preliminary phases, and to learn the tools that allow information analysis, regardless of the project phase.

In addition, you will learn to present civil engineering and architectural projects through flight animations and subsequent video editing.

The course is structured in 6 units which will begin by giving an introduction to the program by analyzing the different existing tools and panels.

The way to create gradings and coverage areas will be studied, as well as the insertion of urban furniture from the Infraworks library that will add greater realism to the project.

Furthermore, the creation of linear works such as roads and railways will be taught, including an introduction to traffic analysis. Moreover, elements with constructive peculiarities such as intersections, roundabouts, tunnels and bridges will be delved into.

In addition, the tools that allow the hydrological analysis of the project and the creation of drainage and sanitation structures will be introduced.

Finally, the integration of Infraworks with other software within the BIM environment will be studied, as well as a complete introduction to the presentation of the project using flight animations.
